Celestia Under Vista -- Too Fast

I seem to be having the opposite problem of people using Vista. I am running an AMD 64x2 with an ATI X1600 using the current Catalyst Drivers. Celestia runs wonderfully except that when using the mouse to control movement about an object it moves uncontrollably fast. I've tried turning down the mouse speed (which makes the mouse unusable in other apps), and I've tried different mice, all to no avail. Non of the other movement controls (arrow keys etc.) or any other motion in the program is affected. So -- Is there a way to turn down the sensivity of the mouse input. I've used Celestia under Linux for years so I am not a noob. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try adjusting
MouseRotationSensitivity 1.0
in celestia.cfg?

Not yet, but I will. Thank-you very much.

No joy. My guess is that this is an OpenGl driver problem. Changing MouseRotationSensitivity 1.0 does not affect anything. Setting it to 0.0 which should disable the feature doesn't. Also the rotation is in the -X,+Y direction no matter which way you move the mouse. I have another program using OpenGl that has a similar mouse control problem, but Winstars which uses Direct3D does not. Oh well, Celestia is still the best around for space simulation. I'll just have to live with the problem.

I would suggest reporting the problem to ATI.
If you don't report it, it won't get fixed.

Already done. Coming from the Linux world I have always considered it my duty to inform developers about bugs. They need our help in improving their product.
