Hi, I just had a couple of questions, 1- I want to get a better map of the earth, I have a 256mb graphics card does anyone have any suggestions. 2- How do I find an object that I added like the Subspace relay station 47 (from Star Trek) when It doesn't say where it is in the read me files. That's it.
I also wanted to say that Celestia is the best thing i've got on my computer and I can't believe its free!

To get the best surface texture for the Earth, you need to install one of the Virtual Texture Addons.

To find where an object has been placed, you should look into the object's SSC file(s) (SSC = SolarSystemCatalog). Celestia's catalogs are plain text files, so you can use your favorite text editor to look at them. Notepad or Wordpad can be used under Windows, for example. (Wordpad does better at displaying catalog files that were created under Linux.)
