Celestia Development?

I am worried about Developer Forum. There hadn??t been anything new since February 2 and today is February 26.Also,there had been several bug reports, but few of them had been fixed. The most anoying of them are the atmosphere bug.In Saturn,is even worse. If you go to the top of the clouds, part of the rings are in a sky and part in the "empty" sky. It??s not the space, because there are no stars at all.And about the bright moons;there is some exaggeration because when you get very near Saturn,Pan looks like a beacon and when you tilt, the moon become even brighter.Even addons had been very rare.Is Celestia development going to a halt?

Daniel,

I think everyone is busy with other things. Remember that Celestia can only be worked on when other events in life don't interfere: nobody gets paid to work on Celestia.

Also, it could be that the Addons that people are working on are more difficult than the ones they did before, so they take longer. That's certainly the case for me :(

nice and smooth evaluation of the situation ;-)

Yet, it would be more than adequate to have the remaining debugging completed and at last come forward with the release of 1.5.0.

"Express" coding tends to bring along many bugs...that's life. I prefer a slower pace.

Amen. I'd prefer a year of nothing and have a bug-free new version (as much as that is possible), rather than a new version every few weeks, rife with problems.

danielj... try not to worry... if it's really getting to you, perhaps take a break from Celestia or, failing that, seek some medical advice.
