cel:// URLs and Linux version

Hi,
I have installed the latest celestia-gtk autopackage. Unfortunately is does not seem to handle cel:// URLs.
celestia cel://[someurl] is ignored, and celestia -u cel://[someurl] returns an error.
celestia --help reveals nothing useful.
Is there any undocumented command line argument that tells celestia, that the next argument is an URL, as the "-u" on windows? Further, is there a counterpart, to the "-once" parameter on Windows?
