need help in changing star names

I'm new here, I really like Celestia.

but I wanted to make my own Addon of my own star system. but I'm stuck, I tried my system in the sol system. but I want my system to be far from the solar system and I want it to have her own name

Yes.

Create an STC catalog file with the appropriate name and star characteristics.

Create an SSC catalog file defining the planets around your star.
