Can the Solar System Browser handel binary Starsystems?

I installed the Iracema addon from kikinho on Celestia 1.4.1. It woks well so far. It's a binary star system with a solar systems around each star. It is using a barycenter orbited by the two stars.
So i tryed to use the Solar System Browser to explore these star systems. I figured out, that only one system is shown in the browser. That one, which is the last listed in the sct-file. I tryed two hours to solve this problem with the sct file, but i didn't get it working. I selected the other star in the binary system and opened the solar system browser. But it shows me only the one star with it's planets in the browser.
I hope there is a simple solution which i don't see right now. If not, it would be nice, when this will be fixed in the new version of celestia.
Please forgive me my english. I hope there is no topic about this problem, i couldn't find any.
I will anser if there are more questions about this problem.

Not only does the System browser not work for each star, but the planets I put around Antares A, actually orbit the barycenter. I am confused about something, but don't know what-the stc file or my scc files.
Any help would be cool.

Tim,
1. Be consistent with your HIP definitions
Antares is the name that Celestia already has associated with the HIP catalog entry 80763.
The way you are redefining the names, you're making Antares and Antares A be synonyms and confusing the heck out of Celestia. Don't declare the HIP catalog entry (the numeric id) to be named Antares A: make it the barycenter.

2. Revisit your calculations of the planets' orbital sizes around Antares A. As they are now, they're smaller than the radius of the star they're orbiting, placing them inside the star.
3. Don't use "CustomOrbit" declarations. They're only for predefined orbits in the solar system. Celestia ignores them if it doesn't recognize the orbit names, but they confuse the heck out of people reading the ssc catalogs.

I've never downloaded Iracema, and at almost 150MB, I really don't want to.
Can you quote the STC file here?
My guess is that the Barycenter and Star definitions are confused, much like the ones Tim has been using.
p.s.
In fact, Celestia's "Solar System Browser" does need to be rewritten so it can handle Barycenters correctly. It does not understand them now.

Thanx selden, that worked. Another confussing fact. I found a chart on the internet, that has the habitable zones for dif class stars. It says the habit zone for a class M star is 0.23-0.017. That's where I got my semimajor axis for the scc files I am making. But like you pointed out they ended up inside the star. ???

Tim,
Those distances are appropriate for the usual small "dwarf" class M stars. Antares is classed as a supergiant, much larger than they are.
You might want to consider placing your planets around another star

Ah that makes sense. They should have put that on the chart LOL.
I wish I could use another star, but it is part of the Trek universe I am working on. I have 99 systems defined by canon sources with their "real life" stars. The chart in the Purgatory thread were invaluable. Plus the Star Trek Star Chart book, the Star Trek Encyclopedia, StarTrek.com, and Memory Alpha canon website.

Wikipedia has a page describing how the habitable zone is calculated. The formula on that page might be a reasonable one to use.

Be careful about making Star Trek systems in Celestia scientifically accurate. On one STNG episode, Enterprise-D visits a pre-warp civilization in the Mintaka system.
Mintaka is a blue giant eclipsing binary (I think). I can't imagine a reasonable habitable zone in the system. i.e. the "UV habitable zone" is much farther out, where it would be too cold for water to exist as a liquid".

Maybe right about Mintaka. I did find some info on it I did not have yet. It is a binary star-a class O and a class B compact binary-orbit period of 5.73 days-max seperation is .3"- 52 arc second distance-.5 Ly seperation-2 dimmer and remote companions-a 6.8 mag B class .25LY distant and a closer mag 14 (no class stated)
So I will say star A and B orbit a barycenter, then star C and D orbit A and B.
Sounds like a solor system made of stars.
How in the world would you make a stc file that made sense of this info?
