Celestia 1.5.0 pre1 too "heavy"

There is no doubt that Celestia 1.5.0 pre 1 is much more computer demanding than Celestia 1.4.1 final and I don??t know why.
Celestia 1.4.1 loads and almost immediatly, the Earth appears. But in Celestia 1.5.0 pre 1,as soon as the program loaded,a white screen appears instead and it gets between 1 and 5 minutes to Earth to appear. In other times,it simply shows "Celestia is not answering"
What is going on?

Celestia usually stops responding while it is loading a gigantic Addon. My guess is that it's probably the Earth VTs that are causing other problems for you. Hopefully this will be fixed before v1.5 is officially available.

It will definitely be fixed. I'm going to take care of the bug this weekend along with the problem with VTs on ringed planets that Runar reported (they're closely related.)

In my case, only if it is the addons of Extra.I will clean the directory and see what happens.Anyway, until now,I was using the 16k DDS texture from Don Edwards.I was thinking the problem was that the texture was too big,so I put the Blue Marble in Extras, mas things got worse.I will return to the default.
Just a remember:the 7600 GT is capable of displaying 6 or 8 simultaneous textures and not just 4,like the 6600 GT.

Both the 6600 and 7600 can display up to 16 simultaneous textures.
