Celestia CVS, Vista RC2, & Newest Vista Nvidia Driveres

I have made the move to atemp to use Windows Vista RC2 as my everyday OS for a while to see if I could do it. So far things have been going well. Celestia is even working very well with the newest Nivida Vista drivers. I am happy to say that I can finaly use larger textures and have many features turned on without it crashing and burning. Here is a shot of it running in OpenGL 2.0 mode with cloudshadows and cloudbumpmaping turned on.
Some of you that have been using Vista may question wether this is really Vista or not. It is Vista RC2, I simply did a hack to remove the anoying beta text in the corner. I also have modified gadets running so don't get to confused.
All in all Vista and Nvidia's latest drivers are showing that Vista will be a decent platform to continue to use Celestia on. The drivers are showing real promise at this time. Getting full OpenGL 2.0 is going to be a real selling point for Nvidia. ATI better get there act together or they are going to be left out of a very important business segment of the market. It looks like OpenGL is here to stay for a while and Nvidia is at the forefront of the push as always.
