Can I ask how do you unwrap the original model? My Blender can't finish Smart Unwrap, it takes forever.

it is just a random generated image that just happens to look good on the mesh

i can't complete it without a model and textures
i can't make a perfect clone of the rover mesh and textures and the landing site textures...
i can make planetary meshes but not man made object meshes like rovers

Rover -> NASA mesh, you can download it. You can convert it with my tutorial (Method number 3). Use Anim8tor.
Texture -> use the highest resolution Opportunity image, so you can have a 8192x8192 pixels soil texture. Use the NASA map for the landing site.
Cmod landing site -> use Blender to create a square mesh. Export it as an obj file and convert it to cmod. Use the tutorial to add a texture to the mesh.

Perseverance - the scale of things. The yellowish texture in the background has a 256k resolution, which is clearly not enough even to see the details of the landing site.
