After watching some more pictures I think you are right.
Here is a nice shot (orange, PIA01988) from Voyager2 with A and F ring compared with your rings. A green, violet and ultraviolet images was used to compile this Voyager shot.
The Sun is behind Voyager and we see a clean lit site of the rings. Now the F ring is very faint. But I found the differences between the pictures very interesting you know this bright stripes in your texture.
At the moment think we should really wait for better Cassini pictures before we try to improve the ring texture further.
