I'm just amused that he was trying to make a quick buck off of selling Celestia under another name, and he hadn't even registered an account here.

From your existing site (as of yesterday), it was very hard to tell since there were no mention of the licence exept for your claim of rights reserved. The only thing that was obvious was that you were ripping off other people??s work - without asking, and without giving credit. For example, you designed your site around graphics you did not make, without bothering to find out who made them.

You have _not_ angered anyone here by trying to sell Celestia per se: we have respected members of our community that is doing that... Like the educational CDs. Noone cares about that, as it is freely distributable. What angers people is that you try to sell it as your own. It??s distasteful, disrespectful, and it defrauds your customers because they don??t know what they are buying.

I like this feature of the 'new' VRTube:

- Worldwide Web Cams, including Live Fish Tanks

Finally, something worthwhile to do with all that free time I have!

And I suspect this "award winning" logo was from another place too. He didn't made himself any pict on his page.

This outrageous behavior from him is making me so furious (I actually felt "insulted" by his attitude toward Celestia), I want to launch a mail bomb/system hack procedure on his back right now. I wont do it since I don't have time to lose with such a loser. It's just not worth it, especially since I know he will probably do it again elsewhere with another free software. However, I'm tempted to pass the information away on some hackers forums I know, so someone else may do it anyway just for fun, especially since hackers tends to hate that kind of guy.

Hm... I actually have a fish in my Celestia...
Image

... It gets boring after a while seeing it jumping continously out of the water
and fall back in on such regular intervals, but if i added it to the standard
distribution, maybe i could sell it for 31$... The buyers won??t know
until it??s too late that it??s movement is rather limited and that there??s just
the one...

The CelestiAquarium
- only 31$ for a limited time!
Cash only, please.

Runar,

actually, I notice this fish is quite a powerful jumper for the money ($31): I read on the top left:

Distance 17911 km....Wow! ;-)

The other possible interpretation is that the size of your fish is pretty monstruous for the money ($31) ;-)

Well, then you should see how big the tin cans are after
the little green fishermen have processed them... 8O

Hmmm, maybe it's time to reveal my personal pet too. Let me introduce my ultrarelativistic fish :

Luxury creature from another world. But I'm afraid this one isn't for eating.

If you want to eat, here's a sardine for you. But beware, it may eat you first :
