It is waaay overdue ! You should at least release the models which are finished, so everybody could use them until the other models are finished. It's better to have something instead of nothing at all.

You are probably right, but even the CSM need some retouch; this one isn't 100% finished... :(

Bdm,

Those 3 Gas Giants are amazing !!

Would you mind creating a tutorial showing how you created those Gas Giants? These monsters are just what I am looking for in my latest fictional system :) In fact a nice bump map would look good on those 8)

Bh,

That Nebula with that Jovian and the spaced Stars is wonderful. I can imagine being there with calm music being played in the background, watching that Planet slowy creep around its parent :D

61 Cygni A
December 16th 3166

For 63 Million Years the Giant Planet Sky has had a lone companion in space, far from its sun in the Fidgid wastes of space but today its going to be alone again

The Huge ball of Ice and rock Named Edge by the Human Colonists orbits Sky with a huge eccentricity, every orbit it passes inside the ring system and Sky's atmospheric Drag slows it a little more until something catastrophic happens.

Tomorrow Edge is going to pass through the upper layer but this time its not going to come out

The explosion as worlds Collide is going to outshine its feeble sun, just for a bit, and Sky will never be the Same again.

Chi1 Orionis

Nova Terra orbits High above the ring plane of Planet Iris
its Rainbow coloured rings Shimmering in the sunlight
Beauty on a planitary scale

the inhabitents of Nova Terra have a privilaged view indeed!

Vega
14th May 2491

Clare is a new world still wracked by birth pains. From orbit it looks like the moon tinted green with large bodies of water

Only 800 million years old, life developed here only 100 million years ago.
The massive radiation flux from Vega however has accelerated its evolution to a point where the entire surface is almost covered in photosynthesising green lichen.
The air is a noxious mix of Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide and Methane with chlorine compounds thrown in for good measure. Life here is primitive and will be short lived, in less than a Billion years; Vega will exhaust its supply of nuclear fuel and expand to become a red giant, burning this world to stellar ashes. A single huge moon orbits in a highly eccentric and elliptic orbit (87.12 degrees) meaning that massive tides are raised.

Computer models predict that in 100000 years, the inner gas giant, Hercules, will perturb the orbit so much it will escape Clare all together

Belle Hades, the stormiest planet in this part of the galaxy, larger than Earth, and her two moons, Lethe and Tartarus, in the Delta Trianguli star system. The meaning of her name perfectly fits the description of this planet. "Beautiful Hell."
