Poll: Allow full scripting capabilities in Celestia?

So? how do we move forward on this? I like the idea of having 'blessed' lua extensions, but I wonder if we'll get the required man power for this to be workable for script writters.

My idea is that the actual needed feature set isn't that large, but I may be wrong. I know there's high demand for multimedia play back, but what else?
