Hi Don,
I have been a big fan of your work since I discovered Celestia. I posted a message before about having a standard repository for high-res textures in a topic you started and I think it would be very helpful if you would start hosting the best textures you have found for all of Celestia since you are one of tthe most prolific texture creators and you have one of the slickest Celestia sites I have seen. It is both rewarding and frustraing to search for amazing textures and add-ons to see everything that Celestia has to offer but I think you could alleviate most of the frustration by having "Don's Cream of the Crop" on Earth Central, or something similar. Sorry I can't offer anything but ideas for other people to work on but I am pretty new to any programming or even site building. Perhaops I will be able to offer a concrte contribution in the future. Best,
Joe

Sorry, that last long post was me, and mainly intended for don. but anyone gathering stuff together in a central location would be beneficial I think.
As for giving Chris money, I think all he has to do is opt-in to enable people to make donations to the project via paypal on sourceforge.net I believe they skim 5% of such donations. Seems pretty reasonable. Count me in for a couple bucks as soon as there is a way to donate.
