Yes, you are right, now that you're pointing me to this odd fact. Actually, I'm wondering why make doesn't bile out before if the error is in a nonexistent directory...

I have made a symlink to /usr/local/lib/kde3 from /usr/kde/3/lib/kde3/ .. now it seems to work. this is a weird problem though. Well, on high sea and when using autoconf/automake you are in god's hands :lol:
