I use the processor 3,6 GHz, RAM 1 GB, HD 140 Gb, graphic adapter VIA Chrome9 HC IGP...) It does`nt work if I press ctrl+V! (changing the mode).
Unfortunately, VIA's graphics hardware and drivers are very poor. You might try downloading the newest graphics drivers from the Web site of the company that made your computer, although that may not help. You have my sympathy, but Celestia depends on the graphics drivers being written correctly.
You might want to consider purchasing a plugin graphics card from Nvidia or ATI (now AMD). Some cost less than U.S. $50.
