Is there a way to have Celestia start up with medium resolution textures always selected?
My search skills failed me on this one...

Homebrew:
WinXP Pro SP2
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 3000/333 2.16 GHz
1 GB Crucial RAM
80 GB WD SATA drive
ATI AIW 9600XT 128M
WinXP Pro SP2
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 3000/333 2.16 GHz
1 GB Crucial RAM
80 GB WD SATA drive
ATI AIW 9600XT 128M
I seem to recall that that used to be the default.
As a result of popular demand, Windows Celestia now records more settings at exit than it used to. The level of "r" you are using when Celestia exits is one of them. I don't know what is implemented on the other platforms.

Yeah, oh well. When I am in designing mode, I flip back and forth through the resolutions and sometimes accidentally leave it on high. It's just the wait factor that stinks. C'est la vie...
