installing don edward's earth dds (newbie question)

I got hold of Don Edward's Realistic Earth, Earth Cloud Map, Earth Night Map. I chose the largest dds files, hoping for the most detail. There were no Read Me files so I tried various things, including renaming and searching for help. Without any specific instructions it's hard to tell whether or not it is my installation (likely) or something else that has gone wrong at my end. I'm using the latest Celestia and recent machinery. If there are instructions somewhere, could you point me at them? If not, what do I do?

Thanks Chuft, I figured it out.
For anyone else that is ever in a hurry as well, here is what I did.
Earth and Night were working fine. It was only the overlay of clouds that were a problem, and that was simply solved by setting cloud speed to 0, as instructed. I also made appropraite changes in the solarsys.ssc so that file names matched and any needed lines were uncommented, such as earth-spec, since I had grabbed edward's specular earth file as well.
