Unable to get user manual links to Celestia to work

I just downloaded and installed Celestia and am working through the user guide (ver 1.3.2). When I click one of the links to do the demonstrations within the user manual in the PDF, nothing happens. I tried moving the PDF into the same folder as the Celestia application, but with no joy. What am I doing wrong?

You need to download the Word version. The links do not work in PDF.

Of course, this worked fine. A shame the links won't work in a PDF though.
