Yaw control on Mac

Post #1by MonstersFromTheId » 01.07.2006, 01:42

I'm using a Mac G4 laptop running OSX version 10.4.5

I've just installed Celestia 1.4.1

According to Celestia Help, yaw can be controled by engaging the Number Lock, and pressing the number keys 4 or 6.

But doing this has no effect at all. Nothing happens.

Turning off the Number Lock and pressing the same number keys (4 or 6), takes me to Mars or Saturn, just as it's supposed to.

The arrow keys work as they're supposed to with up & down controling pitch, and left and right controling roll, but to date the ONLY two ways I've found to control yaw are by clicking on the screen and dragging, or using the menu choice of Direction/Yaw/Left 4, or Direction/Yaw/Right 6, neither of which is particularly efficient.

What could I be doing wrong?
