Movie Capture in Mac

Post #1by applemacmad » 23.06.2006, 06:56

I Have the latest version of celestia for mac, and when I go to capture movie, it says "Movie capture is not available in this version of celestia."

Am I doing something wrong? Why is there no movie capture, I need this to do a presentation!

The Mac version of Celestia does not implement movie capture. Sorry.

The only way to do it is with a CelX script that records individual screen snapshots that you then combine appropriately.

It's not that the feature isn't planned, but I just don't know how to do it myself.
QuickTime is mindblowingly complicated. 8)

You need not to downgrade!
You need to upgrade your Mac to Linux
Intel core i7 3770 Ivy Bridge @ 4.4 GHz -16 GB ram - 128 GB SSD cache - AMD Radeon 7970 3 GB o'clocked - Windows 7 64 Ultimate / Linux Kubuntu

The Linux version of Celestia does not support movie capturing as well, AFAIK.
