Celestia is great. I love it.
I was wondering if Celestia could/would implement at some point in time the great big pillars of dust in our Milkyway? Maybe in 3D?
Could 2D images and clusters and other spaceimages be rendered in Celestia and one could travel there and the 2D images would grow in size? I recall in Microsoft Space Simulator that that was made. Looked ok.
I would so love to be able to travel in 3D to other galaxies and flyby and into them. Would I be totally flabbegasted if I could travel to the Sombrero Galaxy i 3D - Wau. Look here: http://www.eso.org/outreach/press-rel/p ... 07-00.html
I also do believe that the halo of galaxies schould light much more.
When do a fresh install of Celestia one has to load all the new files one had into the directories. People have different things; any way to "save" the old stuff and after a frest install of Celestia then load the stuff back?
I'm totally into Celestia.
