WMF disabled prevents opening .png and .gif files

I disabled the WMF,prior to the Microsoft??s correction because I was afraid that my computer would be vulnerable. But now, after Microsoft launched the fix,I want to enable WMF again.I can??t use the Windows image and fax viewer and can??t open some images, even inside Internet.
I used the comand regsvr32 -u %windir%\system32\shimgvw.dll to disable the WMF.What is the command to enable it again?
It may be offtopic, but it??s not because sometimes I download a .png file for Celestia and can??t open it,unless I use Paint, which is too simple.
I have asked this questions in several computer foruns and even in the orkut and no one answered me.I think if someone know how to do it,it should know how to undo it.Or am I wrong?
