Saturns ring shaodow not working

It seems that removinbg the Geforce FX render path
also removes my cast of shadow of Saturn on its rings on the darkside,
I switched between all the available render paths; openGL2.0 is best, it does cast ashadow of the rings on Saturn itself but not the other way around.

In the previous build it still worked OK using (i guess the FX render path)

funny thing this "ring shadow" flag in the renderer menu ,
depending on the render-path you use
it either switches on/off the cast of shadow of Saturn on the rings
or switches on/off the cast of shadow of the rings on Saturn itself
or (in the case OpenGL - vertex) it switches on/off both shadows.

Anyway , using openGL2.0 I am able to switch on/off the cast of shadow
of saturn on its rings,
this was what I missed in my previous post.
