Star appearance

Lately, all the stars in Celesia on my computer, look like coloured balloons. I've tried changing star flare texture, but that changes only the star I am locked on. Does anyone know what the problem is ?

I totally removed Celestia, then reloaded it. Everything looks normal now

Did you check the setting for star rendering? The problem you describe sounds like that had been changed. I don't have Celestia in front of me, but I beleive it is under View->Star Size(?). The choices are points, fuzzy disks and something else...
