Hi,
My system is FC4 with all updates from yum installed, Kernel 2.6.13.
The hardware is very new, AMD Semprom 2.4 + 1 Gb RAM + 80 Gb HD, configure for 1024x768x16mi/colors.
I installed Celestia 1.3.2 RPM from "Web dries" repository, after run "yum install gai" to enable support for libglext.
Now, when I try to run celestia, it arises the error:
nStars 112540
and don't start the app.
What's the problem?

launch celestia at FC4
Probably you need launch celestia from the line command, to me occur something equal but tipe celestia at the terminal window yes i can launch celestia at linux.
I have the inetrest of generate something o educational material, otherwise I too have the nececities of be at constant actualization of the knowledge about the space.

builds with no errors
also seeing as your celestia rpm is from dries is your yum set to NOT INSTALL FROM livina
livina is NOT compatable to rpm forge,dries,redhat,...
i would do a fresh build from source

i can put up an rpm ( not using livina code ) if you want
