Performance problems

Performance problems

I downloaded many addons.
When I activate galaxies, it turns to be VERY slow.
I have a P4 3.06Ghz, Geforce 5200FX, 512 RAM.
Any advice?

At least double the amount of RAM.

Upgrade the disk to one with a higher RPM.

Move Addons that you aren't actually going to look at into another directory where Celestia won't find them.
