Which dds textures can you not see?
How did you install them?
Which folders are they in?

(They're probably in the wrong folder.)

you need to change the name of the texture image file so that it matches what Celestia is looking for.

If you look in /data/solarsys.ssc, you'll find that the surface texture needed for the Earth must be named "earth.something".

Change the texture image file name to be
earth.dds

Sorry, my english level is reallynefastous.... I think that the problem is in the OpenGL driver... in the OpenGL info appear:

Vendor: Microsoft Corporation
Renderer: GDI Generic
Version: 1.1.0
Max simultaneous textures: 1
Max texture size: 1024

Supported Extensions:
GL_WIN_swap_hint
GL_EXT_bgra
GL_EXT_paletted_texture

And i guess that the dds extension aren't supported.... may be?

You are using Microsoft's software graphics drivers.
You must use Nvidia's hardware graphics drivers.

Check to see if "hardware acceleration" is turned on.

Go to the menu
Start/Control Panel/Display/
Settings tab
Advanced button

There should be a tab
GeForce FX 5200

If you see no such tab, no drivers are installed.
Download and install Nvidia drivers.

If that tab is there, select the tab "Troubleshoot"
move "Hardware acceleration" slider all the way to the right.
Click on OK until all menu windows are closed.
DDS should work now.

You can download Nvidia's most recent drivers from

http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
