StereoScopic View and Celestia
StereoScopic View and Celestia
Can i use my anaglif stereoscopic glasses in Celestia ? It will be realy cool to view Celestia in full stereo ! (anaglif glasses is glasses with 2 filters - Red for left eye and Blue filter for right eye)
Sorry, Celestia does not try to implement stereo of any kind, including anaglyph stereo.
There have been some scripts written that try to generate side-by-side images for stereo, but I don't know how successful they are.
Some graphics cards can generate stereo images from the information in the Z buffer. I think most of them do it with interlaced scan-line fields, so you need LCD shutter glasses that plug into the cards.

A crude way to simulate stereo with Celestia:
_Split the view vertically
_Just to move very small little one of the images towards the left or the right-hand side with the right click of the mouse
_To fix the screen, the eyes mix on the two images and it is formed between them the scene in relief. Jeam
