How to use a DDS Texture?

Maybe an absolute noob-question, nevertheless I'd really appreciate help.
I've installed Celestia 1.3.2.0 yesterday and downloaded the texture-file RealisticEarth-v4-16kDDS.dds.
Where do I have to put this texture in oder to make it visible?
Do I have to install additional software?
