I am a new user, starting with ver 1.3.2 installed on Win XP SP2 machine. The program runs very well but I cannot seem to access the Star Wars and SW-Falcon add-ons. As per the Readme file, I put Thomas Guilpain's Star Wars and the SW-Falcon add-ons into their own directories under 'extras' and then I modified the cfg file to read ExtrasDirectories [ "extras" "C:/Program Files/Celestia/extras/Starwars" "C:/Program Files/Celestia/extras/SW-Falcon"]. When I press the Enter key in Celestia, HD 143761 does not show up in the list which tells me that the add-on is not being read by Celestia. Correct? What do I need to do to access the add-ons?

Add-ons
Frank,
Celestia does not use or understand Windows directory specifications.
There is no need to edit celestia.cfg to point to the \extras\ folder. Celestia already knows about it.
You might want to read http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/celestia/addon-intro.html
Hopefully it'll clarify how Celestia uses Addons.

To clarify: Celestia should understand windows directory specifications since v1.3.2, if you use either double backslashes or single slashes (like the guest did).
But as selden pointed out this is not necessary in this case (except for the unlikely case that the guest is using a Celestia version installed somewhere else than C:\Program Files\Celestia\, but wants to keep his addon files there).
