It appears the new version of Winstars (2) available this October will have 3D capability. Some of the screenshots seem quite "Celestiaish":

Version 2.0 has been available since 25 January. Yes, it looks like Celestia but it is limited only to Solar System. I found WinStars interface not so "user friendly" (you can only jump from one location to another and cannot travel and navigate like in Celestia)

Also, I don't think the graphics are of as high a quality as Celestia. The 3D models are very simplistic and the planet textures are not as crisp.

And what about the "registering". I mean, WinStars2 is SHAREWARE. So it means that you don't get full package either you forced to use illegal serial, and that is stealing...

It costs 7 euros to register Winstars2 - it's hardly expensive, and most people could quite easily afford to pay that if they wanted the product. Certainly, nobody is "forced" to use illegal serial numbers, cracks or the like though.
