The apocalypse

would it be possible to view our solar system with large chunks of earth orbiting the sun instead of just earth and the 8 other planets? I want to simulate what our solar system would look like with only 8 planets and large meteors resembling Earth taking out other planets, floating into the sun, etc... I dont have this program yet, but im just interested in what i could do with it. dont use my email, use my icq.
thanks,
mr. hiram abif

It's possible to simulate this, if you know how to edit the .ssc file for our solarsystem (this isn't to hard to do) and if you have textures for the new chunks

I even doubt, that celestia has collision detection coded in, please tell me how you want to simulate asteroid impacts? ;-)

I've never said that he can simulate the collisions, only that he can simulate what the solarsys. looks like after the collision(s)
