This is a great program.. job well done!

I think someone should start a page where all addons can be found. there are some but they are limited in what they have.
And if people are making these scripts, maybe there should be a place on this website where they could submit them.

This way we wouldn't have to look through this forum to find addons

Dear guest,

There actually is one. You'll find this as the first under 'related sites'. It's called Bruckners.

Currently there are mostly textures and 3Dmodels, but scripts will come as well.

Stuff in the Celestia forum is to be considered for developers and not users. You'll find all you need at Bruckner's.

Have fun and back up,

It would be nice though, if all the add-ons still only available on the forms (such as the pod and monolith model, working gravity effects, new textures etc.) would be consolidated into the main add-on site. Bruckner's site is great, but incomplete. I can understand why not everything is submitted, but there a few good downloads floating around on the forum that aren't on the site.

For the most part, maybe, but as I said, some downloads are complete and don't require development (i.e. textures). This also seems a very odd thing to say in the "Celestia Users" forum...

Hi Boris,

Agreed. If posted to the /developers it ought to be considered in development (after all if they can't exchange stuff there, where else?)

To the stuff in the user's forum: If one decides to make it available for a limited amout of time or people he/she should consider to put it on Bruckners, right. But in the end that's up to him/her.

Take care,
Axel

Don't get me wrong here:

Of course I don't advocate to exclude something from Bruckner's. I have stated that in the past, I guess.

But it might take some time and rethinking/improvement for the author.

Rassilion is working on such a project but I think he's updating something, and I'm not at all sure of what exactly his project contains. Check out :

which will no doubt explain things.
