Im just wondering if there is a way to add a cockpit panel to the screen so while your exploring you would be looking out the front window of your ship! Anyone who has a love for flight simulator would probably love this. Or maybee some kind of HUD(heads up display) like would be in a fighter jet? Im the type who likes to get out there with the joystick and manouver around, simulate docking with spacestations,pull a slingshot around the sun which sends me wizzing out of the solarsystem at 20lyrs per second, the whole time im at the controls! sounds crazy I know! But a panel of somekind would make it much more realistic. I know my way around the celestia folder pritty good, but cant seem to figure this one out. Anyone got any ideas? Can this be done? has it been done? maybee theres aready something out there like this? Id love to hear what some of you think.

But then Celestia should also be equipped with a few nice guns (laser) :wink:

Have a look at Orbiter. I think you will get all the controls you want in this program. Learning curve is said to be quite steep.

-who needs lasers? it's easy enough to get shot down in flames.
