It would help a lot when trying to help track down addon failures if the console log entries were also written to the log file specified in the command line.
For example, when one uses the command line
only some messages are written there.

YES, please. It is difficult to manually scroll and type all the messages that appear in the display portion for reporting to other people. Thank you!
