My Pathfinder is inside Mars! What should I do?

Open solarsys.ssc in your favourite text editor. Find the entry for Mars, and the line within that entry that reads

Radius 3396

Edit this to read

and save. All should then be well.
One of the worst things I ever did was update the radius for Mars just as NASA got interested in producing models of Martian surface craft - they used the previous radius, and the current versions of Celestia therefore puts all these models 2km underground.

I will change this one day, when I get around to it (ie sometime during Easter probably)
