Whilst keeping up to date on the Spirit and Opportunity missions at the NASA website, I couldn't help but notice that NASA are using famous popular music songs for the 'wake-up' signals to each rover at the beginning of each Martian day otherwise known as a 'sol'.
On the 24th of February, Spirit woke up to "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis, whilst on 25th February, Opportunity woke up to "Rock around the Clock" by Bill Haley and the Comets.
I know there have been many more famous tunes used over the 6 or 7 weeks the rovers have been on Mars, but I've forgotten and not made note of any of the others.

Just wondering if anyone out there has been keeping track of these call signals, and if there is any info on all the tunes used so far, and for any more songs to be used in the future?
Heck, I'd love to know who's been choosing them !?
Oh and one last thing, maybe NASA should release a couple of compilation albums of the songs used for each rover, along with maybe a competition to visit a future launch to help give an incentive for people to buy them. Maybe a way of raising some much needed $$$$$ !!!
