Ok now I will speak english here ;o)

I just wanted to know what formulas you're using for the Orbit and what is there precisions at present time and in the past and future...

My software has a very sharp precision from -1500 to +3000 years (I use the VSOP87 formulas)...

Thanx...

Celestia 1.2.4 uses the VSOP87 theory for the orbit of Earth. Other, less precise calculations are used for the other major planets. For 1.2.5, I'll move to VSOP87 for the rest of the major planets, though I probably won't use as many terms--over 400--as I do for Earth.

By the way for the Rendering Galaxies problem I have my idea about this.

I have started to develop a little tool to render a Galaxy (with some parameters) composed of points (stars).

If you want the source I can send it to you... It's only a begginning but with better random generation and rendering the points like stars are rendered in celestia you may have your galaxy rendering !

my email : kendrix@wanadoo.fr
or : christophe.andre@oiko-entertainment.com (@work)

good work ! I'm impatient to test the 1.2.5 ! (with Voyager !!! :o) )
