I have an Nvidia TNT64 video card in my computer so I should be able to use DDS files but I dont know were I have to place them. I have read that textures have 3 folders and usually is in the medres were jpgs are located. This files dds with 8mb of info should be placed there too? ?Do I have too erase lo res files of earth textures for example, in order to use them?
Shoud I have to install any other graphic program to see these files? My computer is seeing them as unknown files.
I have also download Some other stuff like Star Wars ships, nebulae, and other add-ons: Installing all this, some flies seem to be in a wrong place because It doesnt work properly, so I cant see anything new.
In models folder, for example, I have 3ds files, but also cms files
In data folder I have ssc, dat, and dsc files
And in Extras I have all of everything
So I dont know if installers are not working well or its my fault.
