Skies from earth

Hi all, i've just a question:

Do you think that it's possible to renders skies as you can see from earth?
(I try to explain better)
Is it possible to implement in celestia same features of "Stellarium software"?
(http://stellarium.free.fr)
It would be nice see sky as you could see from NY, Paris, Moscow...Mars...

What do you think about?

Get yourself version 1.3.1pre9 and incorporate and activate (menue, '&' key) the existing long lists with locations. Then just type in 'Paris' <return> and you go to Paris and can watch the sky from there. You can also switch to Alt-azimuth mode etc.

Althougth new Locations function requires the most recent pre-release, going to a particular longitude and latitude works in previous versions. You do need v1.3.0 (or later) to be able to use the "goto surface" and alt-azimuth arrow commands.

Just a request:

When i'm in "planetarium mode" it's possible to see label of a planet only if you near planet.
Is it possible change the distance of view label only when i'm in planetarium mode?

Is it possible to be locked in location that i've choose?
