Confused with a problem

Post #1by Gravedigger » 01.08.2003, 17:56

Hey folks.
I'm using 1.3.0
When I am close to a planetary body and I pan my view the planet warps out of shape. Very out of shape.
Does anyone know whats wrong?
Thanks

What FOV have you got set...I think the default is 45'? Try ',' or '.'...that might fix your problem.

Try downloading a newer version; you can get pre6 from http://celestiaproject.net/celestia/files/cele ... .1pre6.exe it might solve your problem. List your system specs too your graphics card might be causing the problem... Updating your drivers is always a good idea too.

a 45 degree FOV is still pretty big though, you're probably going to get distortion around the edges. Have you tried setting the FOV to a lower value? Try 10 or 20 degrees and see if it still happens...
