Crazy Browser!

Post #1by Borg Collective » 26.07.2003, 11:37

Encouraged by a large number od Celestia USers encountering problems with Internet Explorer and similar, I am posting this link:

http://www.crazybrowser.com/

An "Upgrade" for Internet Explorer with great features! The Best what you can get!
Size of only 690 Kb, Superb Pop-Up Blocker (in two months of use none slipped, blocked 265 of them) and most important: MULTI-TAB INTERFACE.
Also, translated in over 37 languages.

Check it, you will not regret.
What am I doing? Ah, nothing much. Just laying on my bed, watching the stars, and sky, and keep asking myself: 'Where the Hell is my Roof?'.

Slim Browser is also very good. Has similar features as Crazy Browser.

IE never gave me problems before...
Recently, It doesn't open links...
It just shows a blank page, with nothing in the adress bar...
Though this isn't just on forums, on websites too.
I can't use prillian on my own damn forum!

I have no problems with Internet explorer either. Slimbrowser and I assume Crazybrowser is basically just a different interface for Internet Explorer. They use IE's core files.

Hope this helps:

For the "Links open a new IE window but page doesn't load" issue, it is
most likely caused by the urlmon.dll file, please check as follows:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type "Regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the quotation
marks), and then click OK.
NOTE: There is a space between regsvr32 and urlmon.dll

3. When prompted with the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded"
message, click OK.

4. Restart the computer.

The issue should be resolved now.

You should also make sure Q818529 is installed
which updates Urlmon.dll to version 6.00.2800.1188 (for most).
If it isn't, go to windows update.

If that doesn't solve your problem, try this MKB article:

Thank's! :D
I'll try that.
Now I remember how it broke I think.
I opened a zip called q319182 a while ago not knowing what it was. lol
I'll check if it works. Also, I'd use Red Hat 9.0 if I could, though my 20 gig drive is almost full,I mostly use Windows for gaming. Thank's again,

I personally use Mozilla 1.4, and now I'm addicted to the pop-up blocking and the tabbed browsing. http://www.mozilla.org/
