wow, So it's like a universe you can look at.. But is it just that? Or are their civilizations and space travel or something.. Reading about a "Multi Zoom" feature the person mentioned something about a spaceship... ?

Sorry, but there aren't 'animated' inhabitants there... but you have spaceships, nebulae, and can add (and create your own) exotic planetary systems. Look at Rassilon's page for my favorites:

http://www.shatters.net/~rassilon/

Open Jack's page for some models and trajectories of real spaceships:

http://homepage.eircom.net/~jackcelestia/

And selden's page for a lot of info/links:

http://www.lepp.cornell.edu/~seb/celestia/

There are a lot of resources scattered around. Just look in the Add-ons forum.

The smallest low resolution version of Celestia is about 6MB on disk. The standard version is 11MB. It can grow arbitrarily large depending on what add-ons are used. I've accumulated over 2GB. Other people have more. My active Celestia directory is only about 300MB, though.

Hello TWiNkIe yeah this program is a space exploration simulator.
its all about the stars, planets, asteroids, nebula, space craft, and anything else that we may find in our own solar system.

Also many people use this program to make fantasy systems too
useing there own imagination, or to make sci-fi systems like Star wars.

My Celestia directory size has grown to 410meg.
As I strive to find bigger and better textures for our planets.
I have a 16k (16384 x 8192 image size) Earth Texrure. which is 87meg large in itself. but the view is amazing.

have a look at my gallery in my signature to get an idea of what you will see.
