Hey there horizons telnet users...

Are you sick of having to constantly set the table defaults when getting xyz vectors?

Do you hate having to enter "change table defaults" > "J2000, 1, 3, yes, no, 1" every time you login?

Well heres a simple solution:

At the Horizons> prompt, just enter

Code: Select all

LOAD {CELESTIA-XYZ}

and these will be automatically set for you!

I set it up ages ago, but i thought it might be handy for other people to know too...

Btw you need a password to change the settings (duh..) so you can't screw around with it- i'll do that for you...

To save your own custom settings, just go through the prompts once the way you want, and then do

SAVE {-YOURNAME-}

where -yourname- is a name for your settings... then you have to invent a password.
