solar system angles

Post #1by darkdave » 20.06.2003, 10:58

hi, im currently devaloping my own solar system simulator, im not sure at this stage wether to make it open source or not, altho im tempted to.

Im trying to get my program to synchronize with the calender so that it will be in the correct orientation at any given date. Say if i tell the program that the date is today, then all the planets will be aligned in the correct angles. Where can i find the statistical data to help me do this?

Have you noticed, that this forum is about a solar system simulator?

Lucky for you, the source code is available, so you can grab whatever ideas you need from it.
