Sobig.E virus

I am getting flooded with copies of the Sobig.E virus and with error messages from mail systems that have received copies of Sobig.E that claim to be from me.

Apparently it's finding my address in the Web page caches on many systems.

Everyone, please install modern anti-virus software, keep the virus signatures updated, turn on "realtime monitoring", and do a full scan of all of your files regularly.

I have Norton Corporate edition I scan weekly and update monthly,
I have had no virisus so far.
Hmm I'll update right now since it's almost the end of the month.

Everyone, please install a modern operating system ;-)

These things are strange, even when I used Windows back at university (I was still young and foolish then) with an always on Internet access, downloading and installing plenty of things from sometimes dubious sites I never had a virus.

Symantec and MacAfee must be blessing Mr Gates every day that God makes.

I have learned classical playing when I was at high school. Classical music I play both on a nice Spanish guitar and on an antique "Laute" that is since more than 120 years in my family.

I have also played for years in a Jazz/Blues band while I was a student, notably also great Jam sessions with black US musicians that were stationed as GI's near Ramstein/Germany, where I grew up...

I still do Blues/Jazz improvisations quite frequently on a Swedish Levin guitar that I own since many years.

I never used an anti-virus (for myself, I have to do daily with my Windoze-lover customers), and never will... It's a matter of a well designed&protected environment. 8)

If you want to be protected, lock all your Windows and Gates. But if you want to never, never get robbed, get rid of all the Windows&Gates!!

It's a B.C Rich NJ Beast, It comes in red, blue, and black and in Bass!
Yes I do play Guitar, or take take lessons rather. Yamahas don't cost in the $1000 US + range This thing does. I've been taking lessons for a few months now but I think I started at a good age or a fair one atleast.
For those who don't know I'll be 12 in around 3 months, For My friends Rass, and LadyHawke this is old news.

Now the slightly subtle point is that Yamaha builds /both/ guitars /and/ motorbikes;-)

Don't forget Keyboards!
Stereos, headphones, walkman's etc.
I feel this is getting too far off topic, I'm not sure if that's fine since I'm pretty new but I think we should go back to the Topic of The Sobig.E worm
and if possible start a new topic for the Guitar/Yamaha disscussion.
