atmosphere flickering on surface

Chris... I don't suppose you could squeeze into 1.2.4 a fix for the strange flickering and "hole in the sky" problems when atmosphere is on and the camera is on the surface of a planet ?

I don't think it's going to make it in . . . 1.2.4 is long overdue and it's time to get it out the door. I just checked in fixes for the orbits bug and the image capture bug, so I'm going to call this release done.

That's fine. Celestia's such a fine piece of software that I wouldn't mind if 1.2.4 never arrived... :)
