When I installed the latest version of Celestia I chose not to install
the icon, now hen i put the icon on my desktop it won't
work. A box comes on saying Arequired .DLL file, LIBPNG.DLL
was not found. I checked it is there. I done this with
lots of programs and no problem. Can anyone help? I am
using Win 98

Make sure that all you did was put a "Shortcut" to the executable on the desktop, not the executable itself. To do this, in the Celestia folder, right-click on the .exe and select "Copy". Then, on your desktop, right-click and select "Paste Shortcut".
If you're trying to run the Celestia.exe all by itself on your desktop, the .dll is is only the first thing it'll miss.
