Lunar Eclipse

Post #1by Borg Collective » 15.05.2003, 20:43

The Lunar Eclipse that will occur in ~4 hours is an interesting event. The Collective doesn't own the astrolomer's device with lenses of various sizes which is used to enlarge far objects (also known as "telescope"). Therefore, we are obeserving the event with device designated as Camera with a zoom factor of 45 (45x). We were planning to record the whole event on (ancient) VHS tape for further analysis and import to computer once we gain access to the hardware needed. Weather conditions are (still) terrible, so in case our observation doesn't bring results we will require assistance.

Do you know of any site that is broadcasting the event (Lunar Eclipse)?
Did any of you individuals planned to "snap a few shots" as you prefer to say?

Also, we encoutered interesing artifact in one of our data nodes. It is not the Lunar Eclipse but you will find it useful (ANDREA particulary).

What am I doing? Ah, nothing much. Just laying on my bed, watching the stars, and sky, and keep asking myself: 'Where the Hell is my Roof?'.
